About
I launched The Pram Polisher after I was given a second hand bugaboo cameleon and car seat, before the birth of my second baby. They had been stored in a garage and so were a little grubby and mouldy. Being very conscious of cleanliness and hygiene and with an eye for detail, I decided to clean them both myself. It was a tough job and I had to do a fair bit of research but once they were completed they looked like new. The previous owner said how amazing they looked and asked me to do her stroller! From there the Pram Polisher was born.
I love the satisfaction of picking up a dirty buggy and returning it to the owner looking like new; clean, hygienic and safe. I adore this job and hope that shines through when you recieve back your 'polished' buggy.

The cleaning process

Photos taken. Fabrics and chassis checked for any damage.

Fabrics removed from chassis where possible, and according to washing instructions, soaked in baby friendly cleaning solution.

Any tough stains scrubbed then items rinsed and steamed to remove 99% of bacteria, germs and smells and kill 100% of dust mites.

Chassis and wheels washed, scrubbed and steamed.

Wheels removed, where possible to remove debris and free up movement.

Brakes, axles and moving parts that can be accessed are lubricated.

Tyres checked for pressure and tyre restorer used.

Chassis polished

Buggy reassembled safely, ready for use.

MOULD REMOVAL - We use a natural mould remover that normally requires fabrics to be soaked overnight, to ensure that spores are killed off. This extra care incurs an additional fee and may require us keeping the item an extra day. We would always inform the customer before carrying out the process.
